Can't speak highly enough of Steven and his crew. He gave me an honest quote at a reasonable price that wasn't low-balling the competition making me wonder if he was going to cut corners. The quality of the finished work is fantastic and looks like it was always meant to be there in my 100yr old home. The new central air system he put in made summers so much more bearable and was able to integrate it seamlessly with my existing heating system. Steven was super open and answered all of my questions. Looking at the little details you can tell they go the extra mile to make sure that even where my old system was lacking or had been done to a lesser standard, he went above & beyond to make sure it was squared away to take on the update. I can't imagine calling anyone else ever again.

I had a very positive experience with CEMS and Steve during a recent HVAC replacement. Our previous system had multiple issues, and Steve took the time to perform thorough diagnostics, clearly explain the problem, and walk through different repair and replacement options without pressure. What I appreciated most was the transparency and patience throughout the process. He answered all of my questions carefully, explained the pros and cons of different systems, and provided pricing that was much more reasonable than another estimate I had received. The installation was completed quickly, and the new York heat pump system has been working great so far. I also appreciated the professionalism and responsiveness during the entire process, including follow-up questions after installation. Overall, this felt like honest, thoughtful service from someone who genuinely cares about doing quality work and supporting customers long-term. I would definitely recommend CEMS to others looking for HVAC work in the area.

Stephen was great last December (2025) I got a new 98% efficiency natural gas furnace installed. I was having issues with my old one (1990's) and initially wanted him to look it over and clean it. I was impressed by his honesty by saying he was going to scope my heat exchangers before anything as he didn't want to charge me for this service till he knew my furnace was safe to operate. Upon his inspection my furnace was decommissioned it (wasn't deemed safe to operate). He showed me why and explained why. Right away we started talking options/replacements. Within two weeks he had my new furnace installed inside and outside, he flushed my hot water tank as well, installed a new smart thermostat, and hauled my old one away. He was honest and fairly priced.... the work was impeccable and with all this cold weather we've had the furnace has run like a champ. I fully intend to get additional work done by him and his company. Highly recommend his work and his company.

If you’re looking for someone reliable, honest, and truly skilled then Stephen is your guy. As a new homeowner with zero experience with boilers, I really appreciated that he took the time to explain my heating system in a way I could actually understand. His communication is excellent, and his responsiveness is next-level. He managed to fit me into his schedule so quickly. Quality work, fair pricing, and someone who genuinely cares about helping you… that’s rare these days. Thank you, Stephen.
